Robert E. McDonough is part of the Brooklyn diaspora. He taught English at St. Bonaventure University for one year and at Cuyahoga Community College for more than forty years. He was a founder and president of the Poets' League of Greater Cleveland. He has published No Other World (Cleveland State University Poetry Center), Greatest Hits (Pudding House Publications), and numerous poems in little magazines. He was named one of the forty-five most important poets in Cleveland since WWII. He has given many readings in libraries, colleges, and universities, bookstores, parks, art galleries, coffee houses, churches, bars, and a junkyard.
